How worried should I be?

While removing my skimmer to run it in vinager/water yesterday I knocked my coralife digital thermomiter into my sump, it was in the sump for about 30min max before I saw it. The thermomiter is toast for sure, but should I worry about side effects to the tank?

Thanks,
Whiskey

is it a battery operated one? you should not be very worried. about the only concern would be if some of the metals corroded. within 30min you are fine. you are prolly fine within 24hrs. as for stray electrical, not much to worry about.

Thank-you, Yes it is the battery one, and the thermo is toast (I tried to rince it out and let it dry even) but it is good to know the tank will be ok.

Thanks,
Whiskey

FWIW My digital Thermometer was always 5 degrees higher than the actual temp. I trusted a stick on more.
