how to wet yourself in one easy step

Okay....got this darn lion fish...in a tank alone cuz he started eating other fish....got big faster than I thought... . So, there he is...sitting in the tank....looking sorta...not alive. Well.....this guy has stung me before, and let me tell you, it was bad, I was allergic. Hello ER, (hello gorgeous parametic.. )....so...in reality I don't like this fish at all, but no one will take him, they are obviously smarter than me...uh hu. So...here I am tonight...poking at the fish with a net, thinking he's dying. Not. He jumped right out of the flipping tank, and landed on my foot...bare foot. Stung again. Drank half a bottle of benadryl and flushed the fish down the toilet, I think, almost sure...HOPE..he was dead...and for God's sake...hope he doesn't swim back up just to get me....man that hurts so bad..I have two different size feet now...how nice.
Ya, this shoulda been posted in margaritaville, but...here I am, so here I post. lol. Sorry. Geez, I think I'm buzzing on the Ben.

It's never funny when it happens. However, after the fact you feel silly and then it's funny.
Over a year later and I still catch a ration of it when I reach into the tank without rubber gloves.

You'd THINK I'd learn a lesson after being hospitalized.

I didn't.

Be careful. No hugging or dancing with lionfish.

LOL

Imagine how the poor little lion fish felt. He was sleeping and you scared him half to death... the flush took care of the other half.

Yow, if I drank half a bottle of Benadryl I'd be on the floor, not buzzing around on TRT! Lionfish creep me out, they're so cocky because they know they have a good weapon. I was diving on top of a seamount at 100 feet, watching hammerheads and threshers come in for cleaning early one morning. Whenever the shark action would lull, I'd look around on the bottom and lionfish were everywhere. They freaked me out far more than the sharks did.

Poor Lion!He a fish! You wouldn't want to be poked at either!I got stung by mine.Mine was a HUGE one called poison control and they had me put my arm in boiling water for a hour to draw the poison out!He must of been afraid and his head and body was facing down and some how swam across the tank in that position horizontally(I couldn't believe he could swim that way). But he must of felt trapped.
They are strong fish and I bet he was still alive when you flushed Him.I miss my Leo he was 22 yrs old and lost him because of a storm that hit here and had no power for 8 days!It was the 1st fish my wife liked to and anybody came in the house wanted to see him.lol are carbon dioxide detector went off on day and the firemen came and would leave till I feed him a couple fish, while my wife and dog were out side freezing.

Please tell me you are kidding , Synancejia are really potent, not to be taken lightly

The ultimate bad @$$ tank would be a stonefish, bluering octopus and a few Chironex sp. jellies (sea wasp or lions mane)

All kidding aside, stone fish are usually really blah looking, really good camo, but I have seen one with a lot of orange color too it, and I remember the shop Alice used to work at had one with a nice turquoise color to it
