How to vacuum my sump?

I've got a pretty ugly collection of gunk in my sump that I want to clean out.

Can somebody give me a good suggestion for how to vacuum my sump? It is too low to siphon.

Is there an attachment that I can use on my HOT Magnum to vacuum out the sump?

If you have a canister filter, just load it up with filter floss and carbon and just stir it up a little and siphon it up. Or you can siphon up the first 1/16" inch of sand and gunk with it.

Or if you have a wet/dry shop vac

just turn off everything drain it somewhat then use the shopvac, wipe down and refill - then you are good to go.

I tried to tell my wife that I needed one of these, but I couldn't come up with a reason until now!
