Ok, water leaves the main tank, from there it goes into my(shelf 2) bioball bucket(removable, and balls get rinsed every 2 weeks). it then leaves the bucket water gets heated, treated with carbon, and strained with a filter bag ( shelf 1) is then skimmed buy my Euro-reef CS1 ( this thing kicks tail) and my seaclone 100 ( hey i paid for it might as well use it). it then gets pumped upto self 3. where i have live rock( not enough yet) and culpara growning. it then goes through the overflow into the large tank hopefully providing a few pods for the main tank. I hope this will keep my bio load down. since i have a snowflake eal and a yellow tank in a 54 gallon. I now have right around 100 gallons running through the tank. and the little 10 gallon on shelf two hold the live food for my Dwarf lion fish. Planning on making the whole visually stimulating. but for now. its just sure function. trying to give my fish big smiles. "Did I say how cool that euro reef skimmer is" i have learned my leason on skimping on the skimmer. if you want to go cheep on a skimmer I say think again!. your just gonna have to buy it later down the line
