How To Lower PH

I just did a water change (about 25 gallons) and my ph is 8.8 . Can someone tell me how to lower it?

what kind of test kit are you using? how old is the test kit? I would question the validity on the test before worrying about lowering

If you are using a ph monitor it may be time for a calibration, I would just exhaust all other resources before messing around with that big of a pH swing just MO

I find it odd myself unless your bucket or something had a chemical in it that would do that like if you cleaned it with ammonia. I would check the meter my self. Its not entirly imposible though that it is 8.8. Are your animals OK?

Do you use ro/di water, or tap for your water changes?
