how to contain coral growth
I have some yellow polyps that are creeping up on some rock that was too close. I am wondering whats the best way to remove the few polyps that have grown onto the rock. I scraped some off the rock before but it just grew back from whatever might have been left. Would joes juice do it? Any other ideas?

Yeah Joes juice will work but there is a cheaper way and will works just like Joe's juice. Mix you spoonfull of Kalkwasser with RO water. Shoot area that you want to clear. Work like magic.

Joes juice WONT do it unless it is an anemone. it will tick stuff off for a while but wont kill it.
Kalk paste it. Preferrably if you can pull the rock out of the tank and use a good amount and let it sit out with kalk paste on it for a few minutes or more. The corals you want to keep will be fine out of the water that long.
Pulling it out of the tank allows you to use more without risk of messing up your water and making sure you get the job done the first time

In the future to prevent your yellow pylops from taking off place the rock there on in the sand. They can't spred to sand , that's what I did with my star pylops.

Now I also have brown star pylops growing from the bottom up my back glass, and green star pylops growing from the top down. I wonder what will happen?

Just tell your significant other that they are realllllyyy expensive and a limited edition coral within earshot of the tank...
that'll kill 'em every time.
