how to catch a crab...

I found what we think is a gorilla crab in my tank (thank you to those of you that helped me ID that sucker!) and I tried to trap it last light by placing a glass with a piece of shrimp in it next to the rock I saw it under. All I cought was 2 snails, 2 hermit crabs and a clownfish! I'm going to try this technique again tonight because I know it's worked for other people on this forum, but has anyone ever had success with another technique?
I really want to catch this guy!

I used the plastic bottle trap(basically the same thing) but it took me sevaral days to catch the fish I wanted. Give it a littlee time.

I've already got the trap baited for tonight. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Thanks for your input!

make sure the glass is taller than you think the crab is wide. if not than the crab can grab the rim and pull itself out.

I've got a pint glass in there, so I think I should be ok. Hopefully he's not bigger than that!!!
