how to calibrate a tds pen?

just received a tds pen and some calibration fluid. on the packaging it says 800 ppm tds solution and then I guess its got a chart of different ppms at different temperatures. So do I dump this fluid somewhere and get the tds pen set to 800? heres the solution http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewIt...product=RO1353

I can only speculate as the "automatic" temperature compensation throws me off a lil. It sounds as if you need to be aware of the temperature and use the ppm index asscociated to that particular temperature. Then dial the pen accordingly.Never have used that, so its just my best guess.
