To add pictures just enclose the url with or if you just want to have a link to a url use http://whhatever.jpg

All of the above without the spaces, which I included before the and [/img] so you could see the code

The box said "Use Win 95 or better", I chose better so I run OS/2!

There is a link on the left side of the Your Reply: or Message: text box while posting a message that looks like this: *UBB Code is ON. That link will show you the available ubb code flags and how to use them .

Question

Does this mean I have to have my picture located on a web page somewhere and then create a link to that web page? Can I actually attach a picture in my message somehow?

Yes, the pic has to be on a web page to work.

Hey bill-e,

I have some pics I want to post but the file size is huge (152k and up), even though I saved them in low quality jpeg format. How do I get them smaller for posting?

Thanks. Rick

Cool

Rick,
The program your camera uses to download should have features to resize the images.
There is a program you can download, CPIC by Photodex, which is great for reformatting, resizing, editing and viewing. This is the program I use most for basic editing and viewing images because it is simple and easy to use. I also have Paint Shop Pro and the image program that came with my Olympus digi but still like the CPIC for most uses. At $39.95 its also MUCH cheaper than Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop!!
Here is the link: http://www.photodex.com/download.html
For images already on your web page, you can adjust them online with GifLube: http://websitegarage.netscape.com/O=...ube/index.html
