Hi jojo!! Thanks!! That's wonderful info! Do you keep your cynarina on the rocks under an overhang? I'm worried about mine - it lost flesh on one little segment. I'm trying to nurse it back to health.
I don't feed any other corals except open brains and
bubble coral. Actually, I didn't feed the open brains until I realized they were getting smaller. Some tanks, I imagine have enough food in them for it to be unnecessary. I guess the only way to really tell if a coral needs feeding is by watching to see if it grows or shrinks over a period of time? My two open brains eat as much as a fish, so I count them as a fish (in terms of bioload).
I feed my pearl bubble, but am not sure if it's really necessary - anyone know?
I don't feed the torch, the clown hosts that - so it gets plenty of food.
I have noticed that zoanthids grow in proportion to the amount of detritus they get (at least in my tank). But, they hold so much detritus that I've decided to get them outta the tank, when I can.
