How Often do You do Partial Water Changes
I would just like to see what people think about water changes , I have goes Years without doing them on some My tanks , I'm not saying on every tank but some of them , Only add fresh RO/DI water as needed and little salt if SG was to drop , and If You are like me what type of system You are using , Plenum or what , BB, DSB, I don't think there is a right or wrong on this , Would Just like to hear from others her as to what is working for them , Vince

When i had my 15 gallon tank i never did a water change just added water and salt when needed like you said. That was because the water would evaporate quickly. But in my 72 gallon the water doesnt evaporate that much so i change about 10 gallons of water once a month. ~Tim~

30 gallons every 2-3 weeks on my 120g (180 total gallons w/ sump and two refugia). It's a new system, and I'm a fairly new reefer, so I try to follow what those wetwebmedia folks are always saying--frequent water changes! I also run a powerful skimmer ( AquaC EV-180), have a 50G refugium w/ DSB and macro algae, and a 12g refugium with 2-3" of mud and macro algae. Can't wait till the Cyano goes away!!!

cheater.
i try my best to do a 10g every week, but lately it has turned into almost once a month, and it is starting to show. one new kid and a house addition are sucking some serious tank time away from me.

No it was at 1.025. The only reason I had to add salt was because there was bubbles that caused salt to build up on the glass top.
