How long should I leave these lights on ?

I have a:

20" 1x96W Coralife Aqualight CF hood w/ Quad 50/50 -Square Pin

for my lighting. My question is. How long should I leave them on a day ? or does it matter ? I currently leave them on for about 12-14 hours. Is that to long ?

Well I had the regular hood tank and light that came with my tank (crappy!!). I looked around for the best deal for a good price. I also posted it here on the board. Someone suggested these. Check them out, bought them, put them on my tank, and they where so great!!! Totaly changed how my tank looks and helped my LR grow little critters on it. Over all its a great system for the price I paid. It also came with a 50/50 bulb...I also bought the leggs to rais it about 2 inches from the top of the tank....They also have great people over there that will help you out with any questions you have...Hope this helps...and good luck....

Awesome, I'm gonna have to look into them...

I've got a 55 also with the "stock" light hoods... Currently I'm using Coralife 50/50 bulbs in there... They look great, but not enough power to get anything growing...

Any chance you could snap a pic of them on the tank??

Thanks again...
