Question

How long do you burn your lights?


I was just wondering how long every one burns thee lights for.
mine are on times. at 7 am my antics come one. at nine my 10Ks come on. and they are both on until 9 pm when the 10K shut off. then at 10:30 the antics shut off and my LEDs burn all night? please i would like to know some other light schedules.

P.S. someone should add a spell check on this. so i don't look so darn dumb eveytime i post

Well on ours we have 4 URI's and each one come on one after another starting @ 800, 830, 900, 930 - then the first MH comes on @ 1000 then 1030 for about 8 hours then the MH's go off and then the URI's till about 800 pm

my actinics come on at noon, off at 10:50pm

My 65Ks come on about 1pm until 10:35pm

Actinics come on at 10 am mh come on at 12 pm mh run to 10 pm then actinics for an hour after and then leds all night till 4 in the morning.

O3 on at 11:00am 10K on at 12 noon then off at 10:00pm Moon on at10:55pm O3 off at 11m and moon off at 8:00am.

thats great info. maybe i'm burning mine too long. guess my fish just have long days. maybe I'll change that and shorten there daylight hours

12 hours of sunlight is supposed to be the norm in the tropics where most of our animals come from.
