Question

How does this sound?

This is a light question
I'm thinking about trying t5s
tank will be a 120g 4*2*2ft.
So I'm going with 8 54w bulbs... My main goal is soft corals
-leathers
-gsp
-shrooms
-ricordia
-rhodactis
-xenia
-zoas
Other stuff like that but I just want to ask what other stuff should be good under this ligthing in various peoples opinions?
any stonies or other things?
Just looking for suggestions, thoughts....
thanks

T5's HUH?
got my tank friday.. now the planning stages for me too.
as heather told me. yes you can have hards under t5's ( up real high) might not see much growth. but all the softies would be fine. that is what i am running now. i thinki iam going to run MH and either vho or pc combo with mine, that way i do not have to up grade down the line.

I would go for pc or vho if I were you 4*110 or 4*96, less lights to replace yearly.

Those lights will be fine for those corals, I have similar stuff in my tank under T5s and get good growth although my tank is a little shallower than yours (18" ish). I also get good growth from caulastrea, Favites and turbinaria species and am also trying my hand with euphyllia species.
