how do you keep sand from floating around???

I dont get it, I just dont get it. my tank used to be crystal clear, then i put some flow in and now sand is being rotated. Its not being kicked up fromthe sand bed though, its sand that settles on the rock and then when the flow rtarts it kicks it off the rock, then i try to do something and when it settles then when i turn the flow on again it get kicked up again. its like one big circle. I thought eventually the sand thats going around will get takin down to the sump and filtered by the skimmer but its been goin for a week and theres still sand!! its driving me mad

If it is disturbing you that badly why dont you just take the rock out of the tank and shake it off in a bucket of saltwater?

um, yeah...I'm a little confused at why there is so much sand on your rock...and do you leave the flow on all the time? If so, it should eventually settle on the sandbed.

Have you try direct the flow else where instead?
