How do you "Child Proof" your tanks?

I was just wondering what every one else has done to child proof their tanks? When I got mine my son wasnt even walking yet but I still did a few thing for protection.

1) I installed keyed locks on all the doors
2) where the 75 sits, it is right next to the stairs and right below a landing and my son loved to drive his cars off. so I got a 4'x8' sheet of plexiglass and fastened it to the railing spindles.
3) secured all the wires/plugs and made sure they were not accessible.

Child proofed the doors and then screwed a security strap from the stand to the wall studs. Aside from that, I raised them to respect my stuff and I've never, ever had an issue.

I never feed/clean the tank in front of Violet that way she won't try to *help* when I'm not watching

I learned my lesson I let her help once and a few days later she was wiping down the 95 with hair detangler !!!!

Never thought about strapping it to the waal I though it would be too heavy to pull over. It's hard to teach a 2yo to respect anything

I let my son feed the fish and let him help when I clean the glass (inside and out) He cant get to the windex so I catch him using a kleenex or a BUTT WIPE

One of the Republican candidates said this tonight on TV and I find that my dad is also the same... "My father is very patriotic. He lays down the stripes and I see the stars!" (or something like that)

A child can exert enough force to pull the tank on top of them if the door is open and they lean/pull/stand/be a kid on the open door. This was on my 75 and 125 that I did this . Now with both kids older, I don't worry about it

make sure u just get all markers out the house. When they go threw their wall writing stage I don't want your tank to be a victim. My LCD was.

Thats one thing he doesn't do I have a 52" HDTV between two tanks in the living room and he doesn't get close to any of them with the markers or crayons. WE leace plenty of drawing paper out for him and thats what he uses
