how do I mount frags to live rock?

This weekend I bought 5 frags.

I got pink zoanthids, a green candy cane coral, Hammer coral, a montipora cap and one other LPS that I don't remember the name of. Of course all of them come attached to small ceramic discs. I have simply placed all of the corals in the tank however now I notice that they are being knocked over by snails, the crab, powerheads and fish.

The question is do I remove the discs and if so how? or do I attach the discs to the live rock?

thanks for your help. New to the hobby and would prefer to keep all specimens alive and thriving.

its up to you. depending on what kind and where i put mine i always take the disc off. and the best thing i have found is loctite superglue GEL. make sure it is the GEL or you will have a hugee mess on your hands.. and in your tank.

you can either find a hole in the rock that matches the frag plug or you or you can use an epoxy which your local marine store should have

+1 I use it all the time.... I also drill holes in my rock to place plug in... If I got frag on a disk I glue it in place... Or on the plug you can cut off the plug part and have a disk remaining.. glue into place..

I use the reef epoxy. You mix it up with your fingers and stick the plug to the rock, and you can do it under water. Works well and the purple color matches the Coraline algae pretty good.
