how do i get coral to grow on the walls?


do i just frag it and use super glue?
i'd like to try to get some gsp to grow on my back wall. can i just cut a frag off and glue it to the wall?

I would guess you could do that, I would also think that you could place a rock with gsp on it next to the wall and it will spread to it. That's how I have been spreading it to different rocks to move to other tanks.

I dont know about GSP but I have had shrooms, Xenia and Waving Hand all grow onto the glass if placed close enough. I also dont know if it will grow on "clean" glass. Mine has always attached to coraline.

I've found superglue doesnt bond great with glass. If there's coralline, it does better, or on the overflow. There's a product called aqua-mags that work pretty well, though. Give it a google search.

I have GSP all over the back wall of my 50, I glued it to an aqua mag and just let it grow off You can't really super glue to glass, but you can super glue to Coraline if you would like to try that first.

it's a plexi tank. thanks everyone. i'll look up aqua mags.

i also want to try to get some monti caps to grow from the back or side wall. can i use aqua-mags for that or will it be too heavy?
