I don't think it has ever been under 75 F. The house never gets below probably 72

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

got mine down to 77 last night in prep for today and found out that a couple corals didnt like that temp, was prob to sudden a drop, my sunset looks to have suffered damage and a tip of one of my acros went completely white...
tank was geting into the 90s with windows open, so i added a 1/4 chiller that would cool to 84... well added a sump fan and it went down to 77....

My tank at home is 76 during the day and 74 at night. The one in my office at work stays 78 all the time but we have very good temperature control there. It's been at 78 for nearly two months now so I'm kind of afraid to even attempt to play with the temp on it. Based on what I've been reading it's probably better for your tank to have some degree of fluxuation during the day and not be exactly the same temperature ALL the time. Oh well.

80 at night (that's what my heater is set to). If I didn't have a heater it would go too low, we keep the house at 69 degrees in the winter.

No chiller, 78-79 Deg F @ night. 80-81 Deg F @ mid day. Unless someone plays w/AC Temp. I think it is more of a problem to have larger swings in the temp. Try to set a temp within a safe range that you can maintain + 1-2 deg constantly, or at least fluctuating very slowly. Corals like consistancy in their water quality, lighting and temp. Good luck Antdizzle.
