Houdini Incarnate

When i woke up this morning I had an interesting surprise....... My 12 inch snowflake eel had somehow managed to get out of the 37 gallon refugium I'm housing him in until the 125 is running, and jumped into my 55 gallon tank...... I know snowflakes go intertidal, and this is better than him carpet surfing..... but I now have some seriously offended fish in the 55.... And how the heck am I supposed to catch him now? The 55 has lots of rockwork..... I see a tear down in my future....

Yaha- some people hand feed their eels, wear thick gloves like the coralife aqua gloves and hold some of his favorite food in your had by him. Laur him out and maybe you can grab him. Dont do it w/o gloves though because you can get serious injury and/ or infection.

Guess he didn't like the refugium. Good luck with the chase.
