Hosting fish question.

I have a mated pair of clown fish im trying to get to host in a pink anemone. The weird thing is they show a little interest but my domino is hosting in it is that normal? I thought anemone's were toxic to those type of fish? Could anyone shed some light on this subject for me please.

And PS: is this the right place to ask this question?

This is the place to ask, and yes it's not that unusual for damsels to adopt a host, they are related to clownfish.
Clowns may or may not choose to host, some species are more particular about the anems they choose to host, so it would help to know which clowns and anemone you have

It is also not unusual for a clown to have it's natural host anemone in the tank and snuggle up in a xenia or a heater for that matter. Clowns are wierd

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.
