Horrible Weekend turn good

hello fellow reefers,
This weekend started terrible, I recently purchased a new pump for my system, In the process of take off the Union valve, I pressed down on it too hard and cracked my sump, next day I went to the pet store to buy a thirty one to build me another one. Store owner, good friend of my let me have the oceanic sump and a DISCOUNT price. So I purchased it. I worked all day Saturday. So, sunday morning I got up and begin to put my new sump in. I had to drain 50gal. of water out my hundred so I could take out the center board on the back of my stand. If not I could not get the old one or new one in. I used the old pump for a closed loop, so therefor I end up buying over 40 dollars in plumbing parts. I started and 6:00 am and finished at 4:30. and still doing little nik-nac thing to it. The closed loop is nice, I'll post pictures. One good thing about doing a major job like this one, is you able to rearrange things and do things different.

Sounds like a lot of work but in the end you have a better system. You also got the rearrange the tank which is nice.
