I'm still running the closed loop which is contained inside the pvc structure that supports the rocks. So about 1100gph through those. And then the 1500gph through the sump returns. I'm not sure it meets incredible flow, or crazy flow, but I think that I'm getting between 35 and 40 times turnover.

Pretty scary! I think if you divide total views by total posts it makes it one of the most least exciting threads on TRT

Hey another update without pics

I was poking around last night looking and found that I have about 20 orange zoa growing on the glass behind the rock... Of course where I can't get a pic. Strange thing is I've never bought any orange zoa, so I must have had one hitch hike in somewhere. Hopefully sunday I can successfully remove them and mount them in a spot I can see them.

Well for some reason I was supposed to be doing homework, but started thinking about my old tank. Dug up some old pictures and thought I would share a little. This is my old 450 gallon tank shortly after being set up in 2004. Due to a medical problem, a lack of funds and a crappy insurance company I had to tear the tank down and liquidate it in mid 2007

So here is the tank. And to give an idea of the size the Naso in the left front is about 8-10" long...

That is 480ish lbs of rock...

And here is the old wetroom. I like my new one much better

OK enough reminiscing... I need to get to homework
