hope it's not a valentine's day disaster

my girlfriend, so sweet, bought me 6 green chromis, coral banded shrimp(big one), a few snails and hermits for valentine's day.
the tank really just cycled about 2 weeks ago.
i'm afraid of bio-overload.

there are 2 damsels, 6 clams, and 4 snails and hermits currently in there.
i will be checking the levels daily...now to make sure no new tank syndrome occurs.

what does everyone think...should it be ok..or is this just way too much at one time.
the chromis are very small--pretty cool schooling fish.

my guess would be way too much but who knows.
maybe it just looks like a lot with the chromis school.

and i had to put them all in---guys, you know how that goes.
thanks for the help

Unless we are talking about a tank that is smaller than 40 gallons, I think that it will be ok. Just stay really light on the feedings and keep an eye on your water parameters. If your tank actually finished the cycle 2 weeks ago then in my opinion you should be all right, just be vigilant.

How big is the tank?
I'd make a hole lot of salt water and be ready to make daily waterchanges if needed!
