Home coming?

The Geoff skimmer is built.

The 70' run to the sump is done.

The display tank is 5/8 full of ro/di water ... another day or two should fill the rest.

I started a siphon from the tank to the sump to take out all the silicone dust and stuff ... through a filter in the sump ... pumps running ... no leaks yet.

So now I have time to think:

If I originally sprung a leak and moved the entire reef to a tub in the basement in 5 hours without loosing anybody ... can I move it back in one shot?

As in:
1.Finish filling the system...check for leaks.
2. Remove water to just before overflow stops and add salt.
3. Wait 24h.
4. Drop in the current tub water and rest of reef ... continue like nothing ever happened.
5. Tune pumps, Geoff Skimmer ... etc etc.

Is it that simple? Can I avoid the ammonia spike and anything else unpleasant?

i do want to drill and mount it with driveway rods though ... perhaps wait a while after they have been restored .. or just do a few at a time?
