hitchhicker on a snail

Did my inspection of the tank as I got home tonight. One of the snail is on the glass. OK, thats good but what is that fuzzy thing on the snail's shell. Oh no, should not been having fun with Jay the other day about his aiptasia on the snail he got. Take a closer look, all right, it is not an aiptasia... Yes..

All I can say about this snail is it is well equip. Has a friend on board and carry it's own patch of weed in case it is hungry.

Andy and Danielle have a excellent pic of their hermit who had a patch of xenia growing off its shell. They called it. Xenia..warrior hermit! I did a search on here and found their pics...

This is neat stuff.. The xenia really tops it. Too bad that my mega xenia doesn't like to split stock. This thing has one trunk and five large head, estimated total of 1000 polyps.
