Hey! Where is the Kalkwasser for dummies link??

Kay, prolly doesn't exist, but a couple of links to some comprehensive explanations would do me a world of good. I'm getting mixed up with all the lil bits'n'pieces I get out of many many random kalk posts...

Or a good book to order, or somethin'... I know y'all are gonna send me to tdwyatt, and he is brilliant, but I have trouble following him sometimes.... I'm not complaining, just explaining...

Thus the Kalkwasser for Dummies request...

Here are my options as I understand them so far...

Kalkwasser top-off.... seems simple, I can do this, but may not be able to keep up w. higher calcium needs..?

Two part additive--- may make my ph & kh all screwy, kind of baffles me...I don't get it...

Or as the LFS guy put it, just dump in some calcium additive whenever you feel like it. There is no such thing as too much calcium--this one sounds like sheer lunacy to me, but what do I know....

Any help would be FANTASTIC folks....!! Meanwhile, I'll be surfing the archives some more....

Tanks!!

EBL
