Hermit Crabs

I hear allot of people don't like to keep hermit crabs in they're tanks.
Any pro's and con's?

i have 2 LARGE hermits in my tank and they just ganged up on 1 of my turbo snails and pryed him open and proceeded to have lunch!!!not sure what type of hermits i have are tho--sort of bluish and they are big enough to fit into mexican turbo snail shells....they wouldn't give up eating either, i kept taking the snail and putting him a couple of inches away from them and they would just run right back to him and start the onslaught...

get blue legs and red legs at a small size. Pro they keep the tank spotless.

I have some small hermits and they really haven't messed with anything yet, It seems like the nassarius snails are first to the scene if something hits the aquarium floor

I don't like hermits because they kill my Cirth snails and take their shells
