Heres something different- Dosing Vodka and Sugar???


Not that i am about to do it but i discovered these threads on a local Australian forum and thought i would show you guys and see what you thought.

Seems a bit weird to me!

They are carbon sources that feed the nitrifying bacteria. The idea is that the population of the nitrifying bacteria increases so they nitrogen cycle filtration is more efficient.

I just posted it for a laugh, i wonder what a drunk fish would look like, or one thats high on sugar. Truth be told, i thought about it after i posted and thought that this could be serious and probably should have been posted in the think tank.

So has anyone done it??

Well I wouldnt put anything in the reef that I wouldnt try myself, well Kalk, but it gives me heartburn

But I use pickling lime from the canning section so its food grade
