Question

help with sump

Reading some post's, some one was talking about a fiberglass feed tub 200,gallon. I have searched the n.east and no luck. Does any one have a link to a supply place that deals with fiberglass tanks or feed tubs. 150 to 200 gallons would be good. Thanxs

tom,
you dont have to stay withthe fiberglass if you dont want to, but any feed store can order ne for you. also check some of the local garden and pond shops.
another way is the storgae bins at a home center. make sure they do not have feet on them! if you end up with something ruber then make a frame to help support it in the sides

Thanks, this is the next big step to do, it will help keep water cooler in the summer, the tank is noisy in the living room,, i can put the heaters in there, proteen skimmer and all that, next will be a nightmare plumbing and pumps that can push the head pressure.

I believe that rubbermaid makes a good feed bin that many people have used successfully as a large sump. Take a look here for some other options http://www.aquaticeco.com/index.cfm/...ections/sid/27
