Help with Frogspawn

On my branching frogspawn 1 of the heads looks like it's pulling off the base. Yesterday a turbo snail knocked him to the bottom of the tank but it looked ok this morning when we put it back where it belongs (secured better) around 4 today it looks like this. will it be OK is there something I should do?
Thanks in advance

I think just leave it alone and watch it. I think it will be ok.

updated pic

The rest of the heads seem to be fine and acting as they normally do. Is it ok to leave the part that fell off in the tank?
Thanks for any info

Kelli it should be fine. the branching kind are better because if something happens to one head it won't necessarily affect the others.

Question

I took this pic on the 20th it is the head that fell off. Will it grow a new skeleton? It still has nice color and is kind of inflated 2 weeks after it fell off.

When a head is shattered (broken into many peices) the small peices of skeleton that have tissue on them will grow into a new skeliton again. It is possible that this seperated flesh will make a new coral!

I would definitally leave it in the tank.

Whiskey

what are your Ca and alk levels?

with any skeleton forming corals it is important to keep these levels in check.
