well hawks are not THAT popular..i actually know very few people that have one currently.. i really never seen success with feeding pellet or flake foods. you want to feed frozen Brine,Mysis & other meaty foods...NEVER add any other type of hawk to the same system with him in it..different species do not get along..hawks can do well with there own kind, but large tanks are required..they tend to live in small schools on the reef, with the dominant fish being the largest. they stay small while living alone in home tank tho.
im pretty sure they cant catch ick..but that may be a myth.i know my
flame hawk had no problems adjusting to my tank, & is still doing great almost 2 years later
& they appear to eat
fire worms also..& they will eat small fish & shrimps too.
