Help!!! Or Am I Doomed?

So Here's Quite The Dilema...

My Stand With A 55 Collapsed... Lovely.... Breaking The Aquarium And The Sump. Killing Most Of My Stock. Leaving Me With One Ocellaris, One Banded Coral Shrimp, One Blue Leg Hermit, One Snail, And About 3 Lbs Of Unexposed LR... All Dwelling In The Last Five Gallons Left In The Corner Of The Aquarium. Everything Else Was Crushed Or Sitting In The Middle Of My Living Room Or At The Other End Of The Aquarium In Out Of The Water, From What I Was Told, 12 Hours. I Relocated The Water And The Survivors To The El-Crapo Five Gallon That I Had Sitting In The Closet. Threw In A Heater And Small Power Head.

Place Your Bets On How Long The Survivors Will Last.
Or.... Any Suggestions?
Thanks,
Justin

I Made It From Oak About 5 Years Ago. 4x4 Frame... It Seemed Pretty Solid, Or My Construction Skills Suck... I Am Figuring The Latter. So Anywhooooooo.... I Guess It's Time For That 150 I Have Been Dreaming About.

Do You Think Renter's Insurance Will Cover This?

Sorry to hear that.

I had a similar experience with a 180 gal tank that was given to me ... the guy who gave to me said that it had only a small leak. Well you can guess what happens next. I move it in the house and told my wife its ok honey I'll add some extra silicone (glass) and it should be fine. A few months go by with a very very slight leak. Then one day we come home and there is leteraly a fountain of water coming out of this thing. Lucky for me it was only freshwater.
Needless to say it was hard for me to convince my wife that after I scraped all the old silicone off and re-sealed that it was okay to move back in ... so my best friend wound up with the aquarium ... and it has never leaked since ... sigh ... I miss my old aquarium.

Wonder what your landlord thinks of a 180 after this little (compared to a 180g) leak. Hope it all works out for ya.
