Help needed ~ petition please read!

Here is a quote from one of the horse forums,

"The seahorses (H. Kuda) and wildlife in the Pulai river estuary near Singapore need our help guys!, if this land is developed it will be poisoned and destroyed forever. The seagrass beds, seahorses and the Dugong population will vanish. At least 5000 signatures are needed and if you have time please add a comment!.

They plan to clear 2,255 acres of mangrove for Petrochemical and Maritime industries polluting the land with industrial gases, paints, varnishes, petrol refinery etc. You have to read further on the website..

Help to save the fate of these animals ~

How does a bunch of people that aren't citizens of that country "signing" a petition help exactly?

PS> I wouldn't use my real name or email when signing up for the site, that's for sure.

Well, either way I look at it, it only takes a minute to put a name on the list. If it helps great, if not, I have wasted more time in worse places
