HELP my yellow toadstool is sick

I had this yellow toadstool shipped about two and a half weeks ago.It was brown/purple and of course shriveled to the stalk. Its been under 250w MH for two weeks with good flow.
It hasn't gotten its color back and where it has, its seems to be eating away.I have moved it a couple of times after being told it needs heavier flow being this type of sacro (it was on ebay as a xl stalk of Yellow Toadstool Leather)but who knows.I did an Iodine dip yesterday and I plan to ride it out,but I need a proffesional opinion.
p.s. the pic of the colony was advertised, its supposed to be the stalk on the right of the photo. The other pic was taken today...
Thanks,
jeremy

I'd be a little bumbed out cause it looks great in the pic. Can you give more detail on it being eaten away? There are a few predators that like yellow toadstools. I'd do the Iodine dip regardless.

i hope thats not the case, there are two other of the same type hole on the stalk and one is wider/shallower can see it just a crater, nothing in it,but whatever it is may have thought the stalk didnt taste as good and moved on?
As far as my water my salinity has been high (1.026) and my calcium is way high,i know that might have something to do with it,but nitrates0 ammonia0

What kind of flow? These corals like a considerable ammount of flow to keep the tentacles in motion, but not too much.
I would watch closley for pests and at night with a flashlight.

thats a tongan branching hammer,i tested yesterday using api test kit and got a reading of 620ppm and yes the vho and MH were on

its not exactly rocking but its contantly moving slightly?is that too much? The polyps seem too short and thick to wave like other toadstools.and they have a little star shaped cut on the tips of the polyps. It also seemed to respond nicely to the higher flow
