Help..my Hippo is in trouble

I just moved a tank that I bought and set it up again within about 3 hours.

Pair of clowns, Goby, Kole Tang and cleaner shrimp are doing fine.
However, the Hippo Tank is hiding behind Rocks and seems to lay on his side a lot.
They were in a bucket for about an hour or so and when I setup the tank again I used most of the old water and then some new water also.

Lights are on , corals are doing fine, they have opened up in no time but I am worried about the Hippo.

I am sure he is stressed out from the move. Just now I saw him swimming back and forth behind rocks but then he "laid down again" ..

Is that normal and will it go away or is there anything I can do for him ?

It's not unusual for P. hepatus to lie down and hide under a rock. Check your parameters to be on the safe side but it's probably just a bit freaked out from the move. Perhaps leave the lights off for the rest of the day - keep an eye. Hopefully it will be more lively tomorrow.

mine did the same thing for no reason. hid for a couple days, popped out every couple hours and right back in hiding. I did water changes, re arranged some rocks, tried to take out a yellow I thought was bugging it. Couple days later he swims all the time but when spooked, usually by me walking by too fast, he'll hide laying down for a second and right back out. give him time and watch his stress level. good luck
