help! my first coral disease!

So I post a pic of my new brain, someone mentions brown jelly disease.
Look up and do some research...
My frogspawn has not been open for 2 weeks...only some heads.
Hummm...thinking to myself, let me inspect a little closer.

wouldn't you know it....the flesh is starting to peel off exposing the skelaton.
there is some HA there too.
I tried to pull most of it off and hit it with the turkey baster.

What else should I do.

My hammer coral is bare in a spot at the base as well, skelaton exposed.
I've just upgraded my lighting and figured they needed to adjust.

I don't mind breaking off a few heads...I started with only one a year ago.
It has flow...

History behind the tank is simple...3 water changes all summer.
Now I'm going to bring this whole tank back from disaster.

here are a few pics showing the bare spots on the frog...it's the white area in the center.

Those heads are the ones that have not been open.

Now it could just be neglect but i don't have a clue at this point and I'm positive whatever the problem I've caught it early.

I also pegged those 2 corals recently with aquamend.
The tank is getting really clean as well...all levels are 0

It really doesn't look like brown jelly to me honistally. Try shading the coral for a while and slowly bringing it out into the light, it may just be mad at you for the change.

What can i use...it's the biggest in the tank and without all my rock, it's kind of tough.
If not brown jelly, could it be from current.
I've been playing with new spraybars in the last 2 weeks...maybe that's it.

Could be, my torch gets really mad at me for at least a week every time I move it or make any change to the light or current that hits it.

Blasting it with flow could. If a coral is mad enough it could also.

well only one head looks good...I will try moving it to a lower flow area of the tank in the corner...hopefully it will like that a little better.
How fast things go down hill from here.
Should I frag the one good head off now just in case.
I've never done this either...it looks pretty simple.
Break the head with a plyers.

Sorry, went to bed:

It's always safe to frag off a healthy head IMHO, when in doubt frag it.

I am just not so sure things are destend to go down hill from here, keep an eye on it, place it in the corner like you say and let's see what happens.

I have had a coral with brown slime disease and it is DISGUSTING. It takes all of about 1 hour to do away with a whole portion of torch coral and it SMELLS BAD!! THat looks way too clean for slime disease!

That's the same thing I was thinking, plus the tissue all inflates it looks very nasty, and it moves fast. I have a friend who had an outbreak a while back, though I personally have never had the pleasure.

ok, so it's not the brown slime...thank goodness for that.
I don't like the fact that there is algae growing in there or at least it was.
There are also som other bare spots on some of the other trunks...again, covered in a light green algae.
It was getting along ok about 3-4 weeks ago before i started messing around with the tank...maybe i cleaned things up too quickly.

Update.
I feed it tonight...cut back the current and moved out of the lights.
What a difference.
The Frog has perked up already, lets hope this wasn't a quick fix.
Do these things HAVE to eat in the wild...i used to feed it all the time.
Could it have gotten used to feedings and showed stress when it hadn't been feed in over a month?

My friend has your exact color branching frogspawn and has never fed it in 4 years. It has gone from 2 heads to the size of a basketball.
