I have to admit that I've been a bit jealous of people who get really sweet deals on stuff, it never seems to happen to me, until now.
In the next day or so, I'm going to purchase a used 120gallon tank, stand, lights, sump, skimmer (more on that later), etc.
The problem is, it is currently the home of "Jake, the snake", a large
Snowflake eel. Jake's owner is trying to convince me that he will not harm my fish. (I intend to move the inhabitants of my 75 gallon into the larger home) I don't buy it, but I don't know what to do with him. I've talked to one store who wasn't interested and I'll try more tomorrow. I'd hate to release him into the Atlantic and him not survive. It's been less than a day, but it's starting to look like a donation to the Miami SeaAquarium. Any suggestions? Am I off base not wanting this thing in my tank ?
