Ok you my question is if my pvc is 1.25 what should the gate valve be also it should be a slip fit. should i get the same size 1 1/4 or do i get a 1 1/2 this is what i have been looking at

your link just brought up the entire website for me.......

but to answer your question............the 1 1/4" slip gate valve is what you want. The 1.5" would work just as well, but you would have to deal with making it fit the rest of your fittings for the mod...........

You really dont even need to glue anything........slip fit is fine for all of those connections as it is sitting in your sump. Not gluing it makes it much easier to clean too......

I'm not sure what your asking. If you mean what size pipe fits the valve, it's the same. You just get a slip joint and the two halves fit inside. Is that what you mean? Also, the page you sent was no help. Look at it.

ok cool yeah i just made sure the part that goes into the asm g2 is a 1 1/4 inch pvc i just was not sure which one to get but since you say its suppose to be the same size ill go ahead and buy the 1 1/4 slip fit. Is it true that with the gay valve you can control it better than the ball valve?

THX

That's what you want! I think gate valves are far superior to ball valves, much more fine motor control. The gate valves slowly close, from top to bottom, according to how you turn the red valve, the ball valve closes like a lunar eclipse, less finite adjustment.
