Thanks Everyone for the Ideas i thought about the sequence pumps as well but nothing is set in stone yet. As far as The size of the Sump the reason for it being so big is i got a acrylic 75 gallon tank for about 30 bucks at a garage sale and it doesnt leak or anything. I do PLan to section the sump off and make an area to hold RO water and make a top systems i might make a refugium as well and just the added voulme for when the power goes out makes me feel alot better. Asfar as the wetdry goes i think i rather have the maintence of the wet/dry wich do work aslong as you take care of them than put a crap load of rock in a sump also the wet/dry is cheaper. Im planing on sand in both tanks prob. Shallow beds as far as the amount of rock im going to use i have no clue. I guess i need to get some pics up as well the tanks in some cardboard boxes so not really a pic to take there but i guess i can take a pic of where its all going.

Oh and about the skimmer i have been researching them for awhile and the deltec seems to be the best darn thing out there thats the reason for me going with it and not a ASM or Euroreef or something like that. Also no the two tank will be totaly seperate not connected at all.

Thanks,
Nathan

Actually for some reason I thought you were going with a Euroreef, that's why I recommended the ASM, sorry for the mix up. The deltec skimmers are awesome, I'm sure you'll be happy!

you had the 75 already? BEST reason of ALL!!! hahaha

and yes...we don't really talk about Deltec's here much as they're really expensive, but they're probably the hands down best skimmers made. Or at least that's what MY research has told me.

again...good luck. I'm excited to see it progress!!

(cough) (cough) (PICS) (cough)
