Help - Ich in my main tank!!!!

I went to feed fish this a.m. and my perc has white spots. I have a 72 gallon fairly new tank (set up Feb.). I have quarantined all my fish for minumum 2 weeks and treated with metrinidazole in food and Paraguard. How can I have ich in main tank? It would be easy for me to remove the few small corals I have and inverts to Q-Tank. I feel I should treat main tank because Ich must be in it. I think if I just treat perc in Q-Tank I still have disease in main tank. Please Help!!! I'm getting lots of conflicting info. Is treating with copper o.k. if I take all corals and inverts out? I talked to the people at Seachem they said treat with Cupramine, but I'm chicken to start treatment. All other fish are healthy, everyone including Perc eating - water parameters are great. No nitrates or ammonia, SpG 1.025, T 80 - I do 2-3 gallon water changes everyother day. Also are lowering salinity or raising temp an option - have read about both.

DON'T TREAT THE MAIN TANK!!!!!!!!!
You have to treat in a hospital tank if you are going to go that route. My experience is that if a fish gets ich (and I have had many), they are either going to beat it or not, even with my best treatment efforts. And my healthy fish exposed did not necessarily get. I lost one fish out of about 7 the last time. I am sure others will have a different opinion, that is just mine.

I have good luck with Ruby Reef Kick-Ich. 100% reef safe. It is on the more expensive side and i found that it works much better if you double the dosage.

I would just take the perc out and treat him. If the other fish are showing no signs, then dont worry about them. Just watch them closely.

If you treat the main tank you wont be able to use the rock or sand anymore. They absorb the meds. I say give it a day or two, healthy fish should over come it. If it is really bad move the affected fish to qt and treat.
