I was looking very closely at our tank this evening and seen something that I thought I had read an article about before. I managed to find the article again, it was Marine Fish and Reef Annual 2004. After looking at what was in our tank and the drawings that
Ron Shimek had placed in the article (page 111) , I'm pretty sure that the are isopods (Cirolanid) After re-reading the article, this makes me very nervous for the health of our tank specimans. I had only seen 2 and they were about 2-3mm in size, but had also seen alot of very small ones that looked red. I'm not positive that the red small ones are the offspring yet, I will bring hame a magnifying glass tomarrow. How can get rid of these if they are isopods, are there any natural predators? I will try to siphon them out, they seem to hang around the side of the tank.
