Help. Flame dead, cleaner shrimp and all hermits disappeared.

I have a 55gal reef plus fish tank. Goby, Foxface, True percula, snails, and used to have Flame, cleaner shrimp, and several blue and red leg hermits. I come in from work yesterday and the Flame is dead. It had shown no signs of disease. The cleaner looked like he had got into a fight with something. All his antenna broke all his legs broke or gone. All my hermits were gone, ie no exoskeleton remaiins no nothing. All parameters fine and all other fish fine. I have not added no new rock or nothing new in over 5 months. My tank is over 3 years old. All parameters seem fine. I did notice I had a brittleworm a week ago put I took care of that yesterday when I retrieved my Flame. THE MOST WIERD thing is today I come in, I left the Cleaner on the bottom because he was still alive yesterday he just couldn't not walk. Today I come in from work he is completely gone no signs anywhere no exo no nothing. DO I HAVE A MONSTER?????? What is going on here????

I am sorry about your lose. I may be wrong, but I believe your Foxface may responsible tfor the hermits and shrimp. I am not sure about the flame though.

This has got Mantis stamped all over it. Or at the least Crabzilla.

My guess is that you brought home a baby something or other with that rock and now it's hormones have kicked in big time.

What Jerel said.....

Sorry for your losses, but I'd concur with Jerel. Sounds like something just came of age.

That or it suddenly got REALLY REALLY hungry.

Sorry to hear about the troubles. The flame could just be one of those flame things. Many of them just up and die, no color loss, no feeding problems, anything. It seems like they may be cyanide caught, another theory is they are being caught deeper and there is a problem with bringing them up too quick and this causes internal problems. As for the rest, I concur with the mantis because I don't know about the foxface. I doubt it would eat a cleaner though. Even my eel didn't do that, for a long time.
