Help! can't find anything on new illness on my yt


Just this morning I was looking at my yt and noticed it had some splotchy red patches mostly around it's lateral line. It's been doing some scratching on the sand substrate, but it's not ich. In all the books I have I cant seem to identify the illness. so anyone know what's going on?

It could be abacterial infection or just stress

sounds like a bacterial infection. often a sign of not so good water quality
