Help...birdsnest is dying!!

Somehow my birdsnest became dislodged from the rock is was wedged into and fell into a group of mushrooms. It was like this for several hours. Now every branch that was in contact with the mushrooms is white, but still some small brown spots amongst the white, and it appears to be spreading over the entire side.

Is there anything that can or should be done?!?

I'd be willing to bet it will recover fine. I have an anemone that likes to move from time to time and gets itself all tangled in my birdnest. It always recovers quickly.

Mine, too, has recovered quickly when stressed. I left it out of the water for about 10-15 minutes once, and it seemed to burn on the ends. Looks fine now, just 2 months later. Just keep it safe for a couple weeks and you'll be surprised.
