Why can't you remove the stuff in the sump? Or replace the sump with a new rubbermaid container? Even as a temp move, you could use the Rubbermaid as a temporary container and repair the glass with aquarium silicone, let it cure for 24 hrs, then replace it if you HAVE to have a glass container...

Might try underwater epoxy worked into the joint, but I am not so sure that it will work, other repairs for underwater begin to create problems with toxic substance releases into the water column.

I once tried to move my acrylic wet/dry with some water still in it and cracked the corner. Drained it, put all the equipment in a 5 gallon bucket and realized that anything that holds water can be pressed into survice as a temp. sump.

Not much that I know will seal glass underwater. Just drain it and use silicone for the leak. When I tightened a bulkead a fraction too much I cracked the whole bottom of a 10 gallon tank, put silicone on both sides and it hasn't leaked yet. Of course I put the silicone on a dry tank.
