help!!!!!!!

Well its just me again lol. Ok maybe you guys can help me. I have a dragon goby in my 125 gallon reef tank and I think its coming down with ick. My question is is how do I catch the little bugger out of the tank? Also my clown fish right behind his head has what seems like clear tiny things hanging off of his scales? Any ideas? Now my one goby has been beating everything up in the tank for the last few days so he might have to go to do you think he hurt the clown fish somehow?

Am more worried about the dragon goby right now though. Every time I go to catch him its back under the rocks. Now does that mean that the whole tank is infected now? I tried to take a picture of the clown fish but it didn't come out where you can see it. Please help.

Thanks,
Kita

Hi Kita;

The hardest thing about a reef tank is trying to deal with fish if they get sick...it's a pain. Please don't add any meds to the tank. I'd start feeding them garlic-laced food and keep it up for about 10 weeks to completely clear the parasite. I'm doing that right now as my Kole tang showed signs of ich. The symptoms are gone now but I know that the parasite is lurking in the tank in some phase of its life cycyle or other. Hopefully your fish are still eating?

Do a search on this board, and the archives, you'll find much info about garlic treatments.

Good luck,

Alice
