Do you have a bag to put it in? You also need some type of filter to put it in, what have you got? you can't just pour carbon directly in to the tank. It can filter contaminents out of the water as they run through it. You don't have a sump, correct? If you have a sump you can put a bag of carbon in a high flow area in the sump. You should do a water cahnge of at least 20% + then start using the carbon. For a tank that size you would only need about 5 tblsps of carbon in the bag. Also, imo, if this is a fairly new tank you shouldn't be attempting any anemones. They need a stable tank that has been set up at least 6 months.
