Hello Wednesday

Good morning everyone! Balmy 58 here this morning with a little drizzle. And a heavy fog advisory. We have a 50% chance of heavy thunderstorms this afternoon and only a 90% chance of heavy thunderstorms this evening! LOL.. I'm thinking we're gonna get some rain. ANyway the diet pepsi is tasting great this morning! Wake up Cath, Tim and Dick! Let's get moving out there.

Good Morning, JIm & Everyone!

It's a Foggy 45 right now but mid-60's again today. Sure feels like Spring, but I'm no putting the coats away just yet! We might have some showers later, but no thunderstorms yet, Jim.

Not looking forward to my first stop on the way to work: taking a cat to be spayed! "Rain" would be looking forward to it even less if she knew what was going to happen!

This is the Mark Twain Cabin at Museum of Appalachia. It was moved to the Museum from Possum Trot, TN, where Twain's (Clemons) family lived until 1835, when they moved away, 5 months before Twain's birth. I guess you could say he lived there but never saw the place!

Have a great day!

Dick

Good Mawnin' Jim, Dick and all of TRT!!

Light fog this AM and 70s today. March!! Who knows what will happen next?
Get out the ark, Jim. Sounds like you all are in for a dandy.

The Cat in the Hat cake at the library was huge!!! Boy, we were a noisy place yesterday. Today will be too, music for the lunch hour is jazz. Oh, yeh... and this coming Saturday we're having a childrens' and family reading festival. I get to work that day to help with AV needs of the presenters.

I'm sure that Tim is scribbling away as I type.....

Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

It is a fascinating place, Cath. It's about 20 miles North of Knoxville, just off I-75. Here's their website:

Dang, it's like 28 F out and dark, Kind of a let down after temps in the 60's and clear skies over on the coast yesterday

well Jim and homer.. it was an effert alright.... i had the tongs to reach the bottom of the tank. had teresa hold flashlight to keep an eye so i do not scare them away as i moved things... had to cold water buckets ready. slowly picked each one out. the did a dip in the cold water the base rock they were under...7 more came out in the water... ended up dipping almost everything that did not have corals attached to it..only had a few more come out of the other LR... it looks like they loved the one piece of base rock... i think i got most of them... only time wll tell... i think they were eating my pepp. shrimp!... had 8 now down to 4.. and the large worms were not afraid on me at all!

I thought bristle worms were good for the tank. I have one names Godzilla about 6-8 inches long.

tang..
from everything i have read and looking up .. there are several types of brissle worm. the one i had was a bad one. likes to eat clams, and softies...there is a smaller version that is a "good" type but i have not seen it...
one of the things i had noticed in the last two weeks or so is that everyone. and i mean everyone stayed away from the "area" that had them... the corals were not looking good on that side either...so i spent almost 2 hours slowly picking them out...
one of my id books is the J. Sprung inverts... i think i was page 143... i had the one that eats whatever gets near it..
