Heaters shut down last night

Well my main heater for the tank shut down last nite, then the back up heater failed, then the back up's back up heater turned on and poped the fuse and shut down the heater for the house. LOLBrings a whole new meaning to redundency. Woke up this morning house was frezzing 60. Tank went down to 76 degree's. not good. I'll begin the slow climb today and head to the LFS for some new heaters.

Mike

That was close, Mike. Good thing your tank didn't get any colder. That's a good reminder for us all that it's wintertime and heat/power failure can be serious.
Hmmm....now where did I put that extra Ebo Jager that I was going to put in my tank???????

I feel for you.

I lived in Spokane Washington for three years while I was in the Air Force. Having a bachelor apartment off base I could only afford a $300 heating bill that left it about 65 degrees.

One nice thing about south Georgia is it is very easy to keep it 80 degrees in the house year round. I do not use heaters because if the stick open it is all over. Not a very practical approach in Wahington.

You really should see the reaction when freinds come over and feel 80 degrees after stepping out of 30 degrees. I wonder why everyone gets so relaxed and nappy at our house during the winter?

Sounds like a close call Mojo! I am glad everything seems OK. When you are shopping around for new heaters, take a look at the Won Pro heaters at Premium Aquatics. I have two of them in my 90 and they are fantastic.
